Retractor with Bleed Valve
Our retractors have been laboratory tested to 3000 pounds pressure with no leakage.
Body of the retractor is made completely with 1 1/4” hex 316 stainless steel. Body of the retractor is threaded ½” NPT for insertion in your flow line or pipeline. We can furnish bushings to adapt the retractor to what you require. Retractor shaft is ¼” round 316 stainless steel. Shaft seal is Teflon with a retaining nut. Coupon holder is Delrin (Amphenol upon request). Available for rod or flat coupons. Standard retractor comes complete with 1000# ball valves. Higher valve pressure ratings are available per your request. Retractors are available in the length you need 6” to 12’ rod lengths. Retractors work with corrosion or scale coupons.

Body is made completely with 7/8” hex 316 stainless steel. Body of the retractor is threaded ½” NPT for insertion in your flow line or pipeline. We can furnish bushings to adapt the retractor to what you require. Retractor shaft is ¼” round 316 stainless steel. Shaft seal is Teflon with a retaining nut. Coupon holder is Delrin (Amphenol upon request). Available for rod or flat coupons. Higher valve pressure ratings are available per your request. Retractors are available in the length you need 6” to 12 feet.
Coupon Analysis
We can analyze your coupons, both corrosion and scale.
Corrosion coupons are cleaned and weighed to 1/10,000 of a gram accuracy. We then run the numbers and print a report telling you how many mils of your flow line or pipeline are gone since installation. Scale coupons are cleaned, and a report is provided showing you the customer how much scale buildup you are getting.
Coupons/Corrosion

Rod Coupons – ¼” diameter by what length you need.
Each coupon is manufactured on CNC machinery. The coupons are bead blasted and then spend an hour in an abrasive tumbler. They are then washed in anhydrous alcohol so that you get a clean, bur-free coupon. They can be purchased in bulk or in small quantities. Packaging in poly jars or individual envelopes. Other diameters are available per your request. Available weighed to .0001 gram or unweighted.
Flat Coupons
Available in whatever size you need. Typically made from 1018C steel – .060” thickness (1.5 mm) They are then bead blasted and abrasive tumbled. Washed in anhydrous alcohol. Available weighted or unweighted. Other alloys are available to match your needs.

Chemical Atomizer
- Body of Atomizer is made completely with 1 ¼” hex 316 stainless steel
- Injector tube is 3/8” high pressure 316 stainless steel
- Atomizer is complete with 1000# shut off valve
- Available in the length you need, 6” to 12’
- Tubing seal is Teflon with retaining nut
- Body of retractor is threaded ½” NPT for insertion into your flow line or pipeline
